This role will be responsible for leading multiple development teams through team managers in Hungary. You will guide multiple development teams to successfully build and scale product features serving large organizations, working with and contributing to the stack and standards used globally.


This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical part in development of One Identity products. As a senior leader in Hungary, you will represent One Identity on a day to day basis, and your teams will reflect your skill in recruitment, training and retention. You will play a key role in assessing technical risks, defining the required processes to build with quality, and improving engineering velocity for everything that your teams ship. You will work closely with local and global product management and other departments, and with local and global engineering leadership.


-Oversee both the day to operations and long run strategic planning of your engineering teams

-Recruit and retain engineers and management to build multiple development teams through hiring, mentoring, feedback, and career development

-Implement and iterate on the Agile processes that ensure your teams deliver high quality software with high velocity.

-Assess risk in engineering deliverables and define strategies and processes to mitigate.

-Facilitate collaboration across the global organization with other engineering teams, devops, product management, support and customer success to solve interesting and challenging problems.

-Support reuse of development work and consistent technical and architectural direction across projects.


Ideally you were an engineer before and you know exactly what they are are doing. You have experience with network and security. You are a team player, you are able to connect people and understand them quickly.You are not searching for problems but solving them.


-Have a long track record of running multiple teams working on complex projects with both backend and user facing components.

-Experience with managing team leads.

-Deeply knowledgeable and passionate about software development, always keeping up with current best practices.

-Extensive experience working with Agile in a Scrum context.

-Track record of continuous improvement through innovation, delivery, process development, quality, etc.

-BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

-Strong technical foundation in software engineering design principles
