This product marketing role will serve as the marketing lead for the One Identity’s Active Directory Management and Security (ADMS) product line, which has historically been a top performer for the One Identity business. The primary product in the portfolio, Active Roles, is a trusted and proven, and currently has a 4.8 ranking (out of 5) on Gartner Peer Insights.
This position will work closely with product management, sales, channel, and regional and digital marketing organizations on a worldwide scale to deliver compelling and differentiated positioning, promotions and programs to build pipeline and drive product success. Specifically, he/she will build and drive execution of sales plays, deliver assets, sales tools, enablement (in conjunction with the sales enablement team), and lead generation activities. The role will also include driving awareness activities such as social media, PR/AR, and product launch activities.
This person will be a key leader within the product marketing organization. It will require a deep level of business acumen, solid communication skills to understand requirements and manage expectations, and proven project management skills. It will provide global marketing experience and high visibility within the business that can serve as a platform for future growth.
-Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the identity security space, products and service offerings, including overall value proposition, features, functionality, competitive landscape, and future product direction
-Drive market segmentation and analysis, understand target segments and needs, identify necessary market research, identify emerging market segments, and prepare market and solution forecasts
-Define and execute the core messaging for the ADMS product line. This will require coordination with various internal groups including other product marketing team members, product management, and subject matter experts, as well as customers and analysts
-Create product and solution-related content including unique value propositions, features / benefits and competitive differentiation for collateral, white papers, sales tools, web, lead generation programs, etc.
-Develop tools and training to support the full sales cycle. This includes product demonstrations, sales training, and delivering competitive intelligence to the field and marketing organizations
-Deliver key messages that enable our marketing execution team and agencies to execute relevant campaigns and programs
-Lead execution of cross-functional launch plans for new solutions and products
-Coordinate the messaging aspects of key events such as events, webinars, and the like
-Evangelize our solutions to partners, prospects and customers through training, participation in industry events, social media, onsite visits and more
-Build and monitor full-year marketing strategies for the product line, and monitor results and adjust the marketing mix throughout the year to achieve financial targets
-5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing/Corporate Marketing/Product Management/Pre-sales in the high-technology industry, preferably at a security software company.
-Demonstrated track record in the development and management of B2B marketing programs and product launches.
-Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including preparation and delivery of presentations. Must be able to write and edit at an expert level.
-Technical competence – ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling language.
-Proven ability to understand and effectively communicate key messages to the intended audience, through collateral, presentations, videos, web content, thought leadership and case studies.
-Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects, coordinating across multiple disciplines and teams, delivering successfully to challenging deadlines, adapting with flexibility and a positive attitude to changing requirements and executing with quality and creativity.
-Strong interpersonal and team skills and the ability to interact with customers, partners and foster cross-functional teamwork among sales, marketing, and product teams.
-“Can do” attitude, team player, fun, energetic personality, works well under pressure.
-Background in one or more of the following areas: active directory, IGA, PMA, IAM.
