This cross-product marketing role will serve as the messaging “quarterback” for One Identity’s solutions that span the entire portfolio. This position will work closely with product marketing, product management, sales, channel, and field marketing organizations on a worldwide scale to deliver compelling and differentiated positioning, promotions and programs to build pipeline and drive product success.
This person will be a key leader within the One Identity marketing organization, focusing on the unification of product messaging across multiple product lines. He/she will ensure product packaging and messaging for cross-portfolio use cases are well aligned. This person will also drive messaging and branding for the One Identity entity – crafting narrative frameworks and helping ensure One Identity is uniformly represented in all external-facing messaging.
The role will require a deep level of business acumen, solid communication skills to understand requirements and manage expectations, and proven project management skills to coordinate activities of many “consumers” and “contributors” worldwide. It will provide global marketing experience and high visibility within the business that can serve as a platform for future growth within the company.
-Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the identity-centric security space – products and service offerings, including overall value proposition, features, functionality, competitive landscape, and future product direction
-Drive market segmentation and analysis, understand target segments and needs, identify necessary market research, identify emerging market segments, and prepare market and solution forecasts
-Define and execute the core messaging at the One Identity level. This will require coordination with various internal groups including other product marketing team members, product management, and subject matter experts, as well as customers and analysts
-Create solution-level content including unique value propositions, features / benefits and competitive differentiation – for collateral, white papers, sales tools, web, lead generation programs, etc.
-Develop tools and training to support the full sales cycle. This includes product demonstrations, sales training (technical and value proposition), and technical content, as well as delivering competitive intelligence to the field and marketing organizations
-Deliver key messages that enable our marketing execution team and agencies to execute relevant campaigns and programs
-Coordinate the messaging aspects of key events such as events, webinars, and the like
-Evangelize our solutions to partners, prospects and customers through training, participation in One Identity and industry events, social media, onsite visits and more
-Build and monitor full-year marketing strategies, and monitor results and adjust the marketing mix throughout the year to achieve financial targets
-5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing/Corporate Marketing/Product Management/Pre-sales in the high-technology industry, preferably in a security software company
-Background in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Privilege Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Active Directory (AD)
-Demonstrated track record in the development and management of B2B marketing programs and product launches
-Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including preparation and delivery of presentations. Must be able to write and edit at an expert level
-Technical competence – ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling language
-Proven ability to understand and effectively communicate key messages to the intended audience, through collateral, presentations, videos, web content, thought leadership and case studies
-Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects, coordinating across multiple disciplines and teams, delivering successfully to challenging deadlines, adapting with flexibility and a positive attitude to changing requirements and executing with quality and creativity
-Strong interpersonal and team skills and the ability to interact with customers, partners and foster cross-functional teamwork among sales, marketing, and product teams
