We are seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud to lead the design, implementation, and operation of our global infrastructure environment as we transition to an independent IT organization.
Based in Budapest, Hungary, this role will lead a team of infrastructure engineers responsible for cloud platforms, network infrastructure, datacenter/server environments, workplace technologies, and core enterprise services.
This is a technical leadership role requiring both strong people management and deep hands-on infrastructure expertise. The ideal candidate has experience operating in complex enterprise environments and can balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fast-paced carve-out and transformation environment.
• Lead the global Infrastructure & Cloud function supporting a modern, cloud-first enterprise environment
• Manage and mentor a team of systems, cloud, and network engineers
• Establish operational standards, engineering practices, and infrastructure governance
• Own enterprise infrastructure within Microsoft Azure
• Design and manage Azure networking, compute, storage, security, monitoring, and resiliency
• Manage physical server and virtualization infrastructure including VMware
• Oversee enterprise networking, DNS, connectivity, and core infrastructure services
• Drive automation, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives
• Partner with Security and IAM teams on secure infrastructure design
• Manage vendors, MSPs, and infrastructure transformation initiatives
• Support carve-out and migration activities to independent IT operations
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and operations
• 3+ years of experience managing technical infrastructure teams
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure
• Strong experience with VMware and physical server environments
• Knowledge of enterprise networking fundamentals and infrastructure security
• Experience operating hybrid cloud/on-prem enterprise environments
• Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in carve-outs, M&A integrations, or infrastructure transformations
• Experience supporting global enterprise environments
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and cloud governance practices
• Relevant Azure, VMware, or ITIL certifications
