Business Development Representative (BDR) – India

Location: India (Bangalore / Gurgaon / Mumbai preferred)

This is not just a BDR role.

It’s the entry point into enterprise technology sales, with a clear path into Account Executive roles.

You’ll be part of building pipeline across one of the fastest-growing regions in cybersecurity, working with global teams and learning how enterprise deals are qualified, shaped and won.

 

What you’ll do


• Generate new pipeline through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn)
• Book qualified meetings with IT and security stakeholders
• Build and execute multi-channel outbound cadences
• Conduct initial qualification and discovery to assess opportunity potential
• Research accounts and personalise outreach based on industry and business drivers
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing and Partners on target accounts
• Maintain activity and pipeline in Salesforce

 

 

Qualifications

 

What we’re looking for


1–2 years in BDR/SDR, outbound sales, or inside sales (SaaS preferred)
• Experience working towards pipeline or meeting targets

• Coachable — you actively seek and apply feedback
• Resilient — you’re comfortable with rejection and persistence

Skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to personalise outreach at scale
• Understanding of basic qualification and discovery principles
• Organised and disciplined in managing cadences and follow-ups
• Familiarity with tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn
