Responsibilities

 

We are looking for someone who thinks in data models and speaks fluently in marketing metrics. You don't just build dashboards — you define what should be measured, where the data should live, and what the numbers actually mean for the business. You are equally comfortable writing SQL, debating attribution methodology, and presenting pipeline influence to the leadesrhip.

This role owns our reporting strategy, attribution infrastructure, and the data enrichment layer that powers segmentation and ABM. It is also the designated owner of our Snowflake data layer — either as we build toward it or as we scale what already exists.

Reporting Strategy & Source-of-Truth Architecture

  • Define and own the reporting strategy across all marketing data sources — Salesforce, HubSpot, and BI tools — including what lives where and why
  • Establish the canonical set of marketing KPIs, their definitions, calculation logic, and source fields
  • Build and maintain a reporting layer that provides consistent, trusted metrics across Marketing, Sales, and Finance stakeholders
  • Audit and rationalize existing reports and dashboards; eliminate duplication and resolve definitional conflicts

Attribution Modeling

  • Own the design and implementation of marketing attribution models including first-touch, last-touch, linear multi-touch, and pipeline influence
  • Ensure campaign member data and opportunity contact roles are structured to support accurate attribution calculations
  • Partner with Finance and Revenue Operations to align on the attribution methodology used for budget and ROI decisions
  • Evaluate and manage attribution platform tooling and maintain its integration with CRM and BI layers
  • Document attribution logic clearly enough that any stakeholder can understand how credit is assigned

Dashboarding: Marketing → Pipeline → Revenue

  • Design and maintain executive and operational dashboards spanning the full funnel: from campaign performance through pipeline generation to closed revenue
  • Build dashboards that are self-service where possible, reducing ad hoc reporting burden on the team
  • Establish a refresh cadence, data validation process, and stakeholder review loop for all marketing dashboards
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into precise dashboard specifications and data requirements

 Data Enrichment & Intent Signal Integration

  • Own the integration and data flow from enrichment and intent platforms including Bombora, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • Define how intent signals are structured, stored, and surfaced to Sales and Marketing for activation
  • Establish enrichment rules, field mapping standards, and data refresh logic to ensure signal quality and relevance
  • Partner with CRM Operations to ensure enriched fields are properly governed and maintained within Salesforce

 Snowflake Data Layer — Build & Own

  • Serve as the primary owner of the marketing Snowflake environment — from schema design to query optimization to access governance
  • Design and document the marketing data model within Snowflake, including staging, transformation, and consumption layers
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that bring together CRM, marketing automation, intent, and enrichment data into a unified analytics layer
  • Define naming conventions, object ownership, and documentation standards that enable cross-functional data consumers
  • Partner with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure Snowflake serves as the reliable foundation for all marketing analytics
  • Evaluate and adopt Snowflake-native features — dynamic tables, data sharing, Cortex AI functions — as they become relevant to marketing use cases

Segmentation Logic & Advanced Targeting

  • Build and maintain the segmentation logic used for account-based marketing (ABM), buying group targeting, and persona-level campaigns
  • Translate ideal customer profile (ICP) definitions into precise data filters and audience criteria across CRM and Snowflake
  • Partner with Demand Generation to ensure segment definitions are accurate, current, and activatable across all execution channels
  • Develop a reusable segmentation framework that can be adapted for new campaigns without rebuilding logic from scratch

 

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, revenue operations, or a BI-adjacent role supporting a B2B go-to-market team
  • Strong SQL proficiency — you write queries independently to extract, transform, and validate data without relying on a data engineer for every analysis
  • Deep understanding of marketing metrics and their business implications: MQL, SQL, SAO, pipeline contribution, CAC, LTV, and multi-touch attribution
  • Hands-on experience designing or working within a Snowflake environment — schema design, virtual warehouses, role-based access, and query performance optimization
  • Experience with at least one BI platform (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) — building dashboards, calculated fields, and data source connections
  • Working knowledge of marketing attribution models and the data infrastructure required to support them
  • Proven ability to translate business questions into data requirements — you don't wait for a perfect spec; you ask the right clarifying questions and get to work
  • Experience integrating or consuming data from intent and enrichment platforms (Bombora, ZoomInfo, or equivalent)
  • Strong data modeling intuition — you think about grain, relationships, and dimensional structure before you build

 

Nice to Have

  • SnowPro Core Certification: Demonstrates validated proficiency across Snowflake architecture, storage, compute, and data sharing — strongly preferred for candidates with 2+ years of Snowflake experience
  • SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer: Preferred for candidates who will own pipeline design and optimization within the Snowflake environment
  • dbt (data build tool): Experience writing dbt models for transformation layers is a significant differentiator
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator: A plus for candidates who need to navigate CRM data structures and reporting directly
  • Familiarity with Factors.ai or similar account intelligence platforms for buying group identification
  • Background in cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, or B2B technology go-to-market
  • Experience with account-based marketing measurement frameworks and ABM platform analytics (6sense, Demandbase, or similar)
