Overview

 

Delivers consulting expertise focused on One Identity’s Safeguard and Active Roles Server products and enables the integration of these as solutions within external customer environments.  Develops and offers software solutions in targeted industry segments that support the strategic, operational and financial goals and positions One Identity for rapidly growing business.

 

Builds on relationships and experience within One Identity’s partnerships both internally and externally, to provide guidance, formal training, direction and enablement for approaching, scoping and delivering successful engagements.

Is a customer and partner facing representative of One Identity’s Professional Services Organisation and Partner Program.  Allows the showcasing of One Identity’s expertise, specifically in the delivery of One Identity solutions, thus enabling One Identity to provide:

  • A better experience and project outcomes for customers and partners.
  • Helping enhance sales of software and services.
  • Providing maximum value in delivered solutions.
  • Enabling shorter, more predictable project timeframes.

Responsibilities

Consulting Responsibilities:

 

  • Serves as a subject matter expert to internal and external customers and partners.
  • Uses expertise to construct and deliver specific solutions that encompass best practice delivery of One Identity technology.
  • Engages in the delivery of consulting engagements that implement One Identity’s software solutions on-time, to scope and in accordance with the customer’s requirements.
  • Utilises repeatable delivery methodologies that enable the implementation of software solutions that consistently meet customer requirements.
  • Builds external alliances with customers and industry experts to gain and share information and industry trends.
  • Works as part of a larger APACJ PSO team and learns from, supports and mentors other members of the team.

Presales Responsibilities:

 

  • Participates in scoping calls and is responsible for constructing all technical elements of the engagements approach such that they can be used in statements of work and services order forms, Including assumptions, engagement scope, engagement approach and effort estimates.
  • Is involved as a technical subject matter expert for the duration of the sale process and lifecycle. Seeks assistance from the larger APACJ PSO team where necessary.
  • Constructs risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans associated with complex solution proposals. Seeks assistance from the larger APACJ PSO team where necessary.
  • Develops mutually beneficial strategic alliances with customers and partners. Advises and councils key leadership on the latest principles, practices, benefits, etc. within their field and as they specifically relate to One Identity solutions.

Partner Management Responsibilities:

  • Conduct the initial consultation with the customer or partner for all projects/deals where One Identity requires or recommends the involvement of PSO consulting.
  • Reviewing all potential project risks or challenges and reviewing the customer or partner’s strategy for mitigating them.
  • Exhibit subject matter expertise to the customer/partner with an aim to position One Identity’s involvement as a critical component to ensure optimal outcomes for partner lead deals. Seeks assistance from the larger APACJ PSO team where necessary.
  • To form and build strong relationships with key delivery partner stakeholders so they understand the value One Identity can provide during their engagements and express intent to develop their skills in One Identity Software solutions.
  • Understand the technical capabilities of external and partner consultants and assist PSO Management in tracking the history of individuals’ participation and performance in classroom enablement sessions and exams and project work and outcomes.
  • Where required, assist with Partner Enablement – classroom, virtual and on-site.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on technical experience with Identity Management solutions
  • Experience in the delivery of Safeguard and Active Roles Server will be highly regarded
  • Enterprise-scale experience with delivering Identity Manager solutions
  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, or 7+ years relevant experience
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
  • Prior work experience in a global Consulting position within a software and/or services company

  • Problem Solving - develops and evaluates solutions with consideration for likely business impacts, developing contingency plans and ensuring customers are actively engaged in the problem solving process.
  • Consultancy - addresses complex issues confidently with customers, using influence and expert analysis to highlight and address issues and create shared solutions that advance the customer’s business consistent with organisational priorities and an assessment of risk.
