We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Identity Manager development team at One Identity. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and evolving our enterprise-grade Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform — contributing not just to infrastructure, but to the software that runs on it.
This is a hybrid engineering role for someone who is equally comfortable writing production C# code as they are managing Kubernetes clusters. You will bridge the gap between platform engineering and application development, ensuring our containerized infrastructure and the services it hosts are secure, scalable, and built to last.
Platform & Infrastructure
Design, build, and operate a secure, scalable Kubernetes-based platform across cloud and/or on-premises environments
Own the full containerization lifecycle — Docker image authoring, optimization, registry management, and security hardening
Provision and manage Kubernetes clusters with a focus on high availability, scalability, and production stability
Develop and maintain Kubernetes resources (Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets) and Helm charts for standardized deployments
Implement and enforce RBAC and cluster security hardening standards
Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads using GitOps practices and IaC
Build and maintain observability solutions — monitoring, logging, alerting — and lead incident response and root cause analysis
Application Development
Design and implement backend services and platform tooling in C#/.NET
Develop and maintain integrations, internal APIs, and automation tooling that supports platform operations and developer workflows
Work with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) — including schema design, query optimization, and data migration strategies
Collaborate with development teams to improve platform reliability and developer experience, contributing code where it matters most
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in alignment with engineering standards
Platform Engineering
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, core components, and cluster management (cloud or on-prem)
Hands-on experience with Docker and writing optimized Dockerfiles
Experience with managed Kubernetes services (Amazon EKS, GKE, or AKS)
Solid understanding of cloud networking fundamentals (VPCs, load balancers, DNS)
Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Hands-on experience designing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or Flux
Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
Solid Linux system administration skills
Software Development
Proficiency in C#/.NET with experience building backend services or platform tooling in a production environment
Strong working knowledge of relational databases — query writing, schema design, indexing, and performance tuning (SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL preferred)
Experience writing automation scripts and integrating with REST APIs
Familiarity with software development best practices: version control, code review, testing, and CI/CD
Soft Skills & Ways of Working
Systems thinking and a structured troubleshooting mindset
Strong ownership mentality — you treat infrastructure and code reliability as your responsibility
Clear documentation habits and cross-team collaboration skills (Dev, QA, Security, Ops)
Confident English proficiency, written and spoken
