As a Senior Product Manager, you will own key areas of the Identity Manager product portfolio, spanning both Identity Manager (on-prem) and Identity Manager On Demand (IMOD). 

 

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for shaping product strategy, driving roadmap execution, and ensuring consistent customer value across a hybrid identity landscape. This includes balancing the needs of long-standing enterprise customers with the evolution of our SaaS offering. 

 

You will work closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Sales, Support, and Professional Services to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant identity solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

 

We offer both remote and hybrid working models in Hungary.

We offer remote working models in UK.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership 

  • Partner with Product Leadership to define and evolve: 
  • 3–5 year product vision for Identity Manager across on-prem and SaaS 
  • 1–2 year executable product strategy aligned with business goals 
  • Own and maintain a 6–12 month roadmap for assigned Identity Manager domains (e.g. lifecycle management, governance, integrations, platform capabilities). 
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders on priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs. 
  • Translate strategy into clear, prioritised goals aligned with engineering cadences. 
  • Define success metrics, business outcomes, and customer value for roadmap initiatives. 
  • Define acceptance criteria and make final release readiness decisions. 
  • Review and validate delivered functionality prior to customer release. 

 

Identity Platform Leadership 

  • Act as a product authority for Identity Manager and Identity Manager on Demand (IMOD) within the organisation. 
  • Balance: 
  • On-prem customer requirements 
  • SaaS platform evolution 
  • Security, compliance, and scalability considerations 
  • Drive clarity in areas such as: 
  • Feature parity and differentiation between on-prem and IMOD 
  • Migration and coexistence strategies 
  • Platform consistency and technical debt trade-offs 
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture to ensure product decisions are technically sound and commercially viable. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work in close coordination with: 
  • Engineering and Architecture 
  • UX and Documentation 
  • Sales, Support, Product Marketing and Professional Services 
  • Actively participate in discovery, design, and planning activities. 
  • Navigate ambiguity and competing priorities with strong judgment and ownership. 
  • Identify risks and dependencies early and proactively drive mitigation. 

 

Customer & Field Engagement 

  • Develop deep understanding of enterprise identity use cases, customer pain points, and regulatory drivers. 
  • Engage directly with customers and partners to: 
  • Validate requirements 
  • Support key customer conversations 
  • Assist with escalations where product expertise is required 
  • Bring a strong business and customer lens to technical and architectural discussions. 

 

Market & Industry Insight 

  • Maintain strong awareness of: 
  • Identity and Access Management trends 
  • Regulatory and compliance requirements 
  • Competitive offerings in both on-prem and SaaS IAM 
  • Contribute to product positioning, messaging, and differentiation. 
  • Represent the product internally and externally through presentations, briefings, and events when required. 

Qualifications

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus 

 

Experience 

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management or a closely related role (e.g. technical sales, solutions architecture) in Identity & Access Management 
  • Strong experience with enterprise identity platforms, ideally including: 
  • Identity lifecycle management 
  • Provisioning and governance 
  • Integrations with directories, HR systems, and applications 
  • Experience working with on-prem, SaaS, or hybrid identity products 
  • Proven ability to: 
  • Own complex product areas 
  • Drive multi-year roadmaps 
  • Operate effectively in global, cross-functional environments 

 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong product judgment with the ability to balance security, usability, scalability, and commercial impact 
  • Comfortable operating autonomously while aligning closely with leadership 
  • Able to engage deeply in technical discussions without losing sight of business outcomes 
  • Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex identity concepts into clear narratives 
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills 
  • High level of ownership, curiosity, and customer empathy 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English 

 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with SaaS platform transformation or hybrid product strategies 
  • IAM, cloud, or security certifications 
  • Experience working with multinational enterprise customers
