The Professional Services Project Manager role supporting the Expert Services team is responsible for leading, tracking, and reporting on the successful implementation of technical solutions. using Quest Software in our customers’ environments. This role requires high customer focus, dedication, and the desire to help clients maximize their benefits from Quest Solutions; through demonstrating solution knowledge, project guidance, and understanding the customers’ needs. You will achieve this by managing deliverables and their respective dates, ensuring that key milestones are reported and tracked. You will facilitate project meetings while capturing updates and organizing/distributing those project details to key stakeholders. You will also align project plan templates with our implementations and ensure we provide best-in-class solutions. In addition to project work, our project managers are influential in the growth of our practice. Team members actively contribute to internal initiatives spanning new solutions and IP creation to practice operations and people development. Hands-on involvement in our practice gives our consultants opportunities to grow their skill sets and careers beyond the confines of project work. You will lead and drive the project life cycle in relation to our software platform/products. This includes but is not limited to business scoping, development of the project plan, requirement refinement and change control, configuration, and quality assurance. Our methodology is a modified–agile approach.
-Manage the schedule, scope, and budget of solution implementation projects
-Create and maintain WBS, RACI, Stakeholder Register, and detailed Project Management Plan
-Manage and run assigned projects, facilitate calls, organize time and resources
-Manage several high-priority projects at one time, staying on schedule under tight deadlines
-Provide accurate status reports to customer and internal stakeholders
-Provide insight on risk management and facilitate resolutions
-Manage multiple project teams in a variety of customer verticals
-Document solutions, updating baseline template documentation as necessary
-Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvements to advance process maturity, project, and change management best practices into repeatable operational processes
-Provide clients with feasible implementation plans that deliver value for the money
-Effectively and proactively manages customers’ expectations serving as the strategic liaison with customers. Able to effectively communicate highly technical information to numerous audiences.
-Be a ‘change advocate’ for the customer, understand the change management required and shepherd the customer to adopt the full solution
-Serve as the escalation point person for the customer, delivery, and other associated Quest teams
-Ensure smooth transition of projects from Expert Services to Managed Services
-Work and collaborate as part of a team
-Excellent communication, critical thinking & analytical skills
-Administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
-Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or Project Management; or equivalent experience
-5+ years of project management experience with progressively complex engagements supporting the full technology stack
-Experience with Microsoft Project
-Experience in various project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
-Previous experience working within a fast-paced technical environment
-Experience managing both Fixed-Fee and Time & Materials projects
-Previous experience managing projects involving the implementation of software suites across an enterprise environment
-Strong influencing and negotiation skills across all levels of an organization
-Strong communication (verbal and written)
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
-An ability to work independently across multiple projects, and meet deadlines
-Attention to detail and demonstrated history of organizational skills
-An ability to rapidly grasp and communicate complex business and technical concepts
-The desire to provide the highest quality service to our customers
-Ability to mentor junior project managers
-Ability to travel up to 25%

-PMP Certification
-Located in Central or Eastern Time Zone
-Certification in Microsoft (MCSE), Security (CISSP/CISM) or Process (ITIL, MOF, BPM, Six Sigma) or related industry practices
-Exposure to Azure Active Directory technologies, including authentication models, federation, Multifactor Authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and other relevant capabilities
-Exposure to Identity & Access Management tools like FIM, MIM, and OIM as well as integrating Azure AD Identities with on-premises Active Directory
