Overview

The Asia-Pacific & Japan (APJ) Team is looking for a Channel Sales Leader to join our sales organization, reporting directly to our Vice President of APJ. This will be a highly visible role requiring proven channel experience and a track record of execution. The ideal candidate will understand and internalize the One Identity vision, solution portfolio, product road-map, and go-to-market activities and effectively communicate these to partner constituents. This candidate will define, build, and lead our APJ Channel Strategy for the One Identity portfolio.

 

The Channel Sales Leader will lead, mentor and drive a team of channel professionals across five regions including Australia/New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Japan, India and Korea.  The leader role will be based in Singapore or Malaysia. 

Responsibilities

 

As a Channel Sales Manager, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with Regional Sales Leaders, develop and drive the Channel Strategy and APJ playbook development
  • Introduce, develop, and execute APJ Channel Strategy growth plans to support hyper-growth of the One Identity channel business, focusing on driving incremental Partner-led growth, Partner Recruitment, and Activation
  • This role must be capable of leading, mentoring, and driving the channel professionals in the APJ region.
  • Establish Partner Ecosystem expansion, growth, and sales strategies for prioritized segments and services
  • Collaborate with strategic partner alliances in the region to drive engagement and growth
  • Provide linkage to and collaborate with marketing and sales operations teams to support channel programs & operations
  • Utilize and provide competitive and market insights to shape the direction of the APJ channel to optimize revenue growth
  • Drive Partner Transformation and the engagement process
  • Working with sales operations, refining a meaningful and actionable metrics dashboard to measure results and drive adjustments as necessary
  • Act as a key interface with Global Partner Finance, Operations, and Programs to leverage corporate resources and best practices for the APJ region.
  • Provide regional support for key partner constituents where local engagement is needed to promote the health of the channel. 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in channel sales and management. Must understand channel as a GTM strategy
  • Experience working in multiple areas of the APJ region
  • Knowledge of channel industry practices, competitive products, and research data
  • Experience leveraging channel operations and alignment with marketing to achieve a positive partner experience
  • Strong leadership & people management skills; proven ability to develop key talent
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a changing environment, flexible, and open-minded
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced and matrixed work environment
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to engage and present to executives both within One Identity and with partners
  • Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborates well with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Diagnose and resolve issues quickly
