We are seeking an experienced and motivated Systems Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be part of a team that is responsible for managing and optimizing our Microsoft 365 platform, identity services, DNS, various SaaS application platform management, and automation engineering. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of critical systems, enhancing our ability to deliver top-notch services across the organization.

100% remote - candidate MUST be located in Panama.

Responsibilities

-Microsoft 365 Administration: Oversee aspects of the Microsoft 365 platform, including email, Teams chat, Power Platform, SharePoint intranet, and other tools.

-Identity Management: Manage and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), ensuring secure and efficient identity and access services.

-DNS Management: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot DNS services to maintain seamless network operations.

-Automation Engineering: Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline IT operations and improve system reliability.

-Policy Adherence: Follow defined processes to deliver consistent and high-quality output without the need for constant supervision.

-User Support and Communication: Collaborate with end-users to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and deliver exceptional service while leaving a lasting positive impression.

-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to share knowledge, brainstorm solutions, and ensure alignment on critical projects

Qualifications

Skills & Competencies

-Extensive experience managing Microsoft 365 services, Active Directory, and DNS systems.

-Proven ability to self-drive learning and adapt quickly to new technologies.

-Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for figuring things out independently.

-Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on user satisfaction and team collaboration.

-Ability to follow structured processes while delivering creative and effective solutions.

-Strong team player

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

-Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

-Expertise in automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Jenkins) or desire to learn quickly.

-Ideally, have some proficiency with HTML/CSS

-Basic project management participation skills

 
Education & Professional Experience

-4+ years experience in M365 Exchange Online or SharePoint

-2+ years of PowerShell experience

-Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or in a related field, or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge

-Experience with SCRUM, Kanban, or other Agile methodology
