Overview

One Identity is seeking an Identity Management Senior Principal Pre-sales Consultant to support our Identity and Access Management Practice in EMEA focussing on our business-based solutions. This position will be based remotely, in Sweden.

 

The successful candidates will work as part of a rapidly growing Identity and Access Management team to provide a high standard of pre-sales on the IAM group of products. Excellent communication skills, as well as technical ability and strong IAM domain knowledge are crucial to the role. The successful candidate will work across regional boundaries with Country and Product Managers to ensure product quality and stability.  Determination to professionally manage a number of potentially complex implementations on a variety of Windows and UNIX platforms is required. Proven business acumen is needed to recognise up-selling opportunity and an ability to meet tight project timelines is a must.

 

You will gain exposure to enterprise environments incorporating Web, Database, ERP, CRM Messaging and Unix/AD deployments so a good cross-platform technology background is desired. Customer service and professionalism are our core principles.

 

As a senior principal, you will be expected to be a strong role model to the others in the team and take a leading part in the strategy and direction that One Identity takes with IAM in EMEA. You will be a leader in the industry and be prepared to stand up and express your opinions to audiences of all levels and sizes.

As an IDM pre-sales consultant, you will have had exposure to some of the following technologies:

 

- Operating Systems: Windows, Unix, Linux, Macintosh

- ERP: SAP, Oracle, IBM, PeopleSoft

- Databases: MS-SQL Server, Oracle

- Web: IIS, Apache, SharePoint

- LDAP: Active Directory, Oracle, NovelL

 

Responsibilities

Day to Day Duties

 

- Within 1 month be familiar with internal systems and have attended One Identity Manager Product Training.

- Within 2 months, cross-skill into other IAM product areas.

- Within 3 months ability to deploy in a “Proof of Concept” Environment.

- Build a good relationship with the sales organisation and share engagements.

- Visit customers to articulate and demonstrate the One Identity IAM message.

- Work with the sales team on RFP/RFI documents.

- Be pro-active in recognising and raising up-selling and cross selling opportunities.

- Act as “Product Evangelist” developing and attending training for self-improvement and to share knowledge with other teams across One Identity.

- Initiate, participate in or lead local and global initiatives in the IAM space.

- Work with the general One Identity sales teams to develop opportunities in their accounts

Qualifications

Essential Technical Skills

 

- Prior pre-sales/consulting experience

- Knowledge of existing IAM technologies (CA, IBM, Oracle etc)

- Strong knowledge of various operating systems and Active Directory Architecture from a consulting background

- SQL Server or Oracle database skills

- Experience of VB and/or .Net scripting is a plus

 

Additional Requirements

 

- Educated to bachelor’s degree level in a business or computing discipline or equivalent experience

- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish & English (3rd European language desirable)

- Independent, self-motivated and driven.

- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

- Professional, focussed with good time management ability

- Customer-oriented personality

- Effective and analytical approach to problem solving

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Smart appearance

- Keep up to date with emerging technologies

- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time within EMEA.

 

Preferred Technical Skills

 

- Exposure to One Identity Technology an advantage

- VMWare / Virtual Desktop or Server technology experience

- Active Directory security knowledge

- Experience with ERP/CRM solutions

- Scripting knowledge (vbs, jscript, xml, HTTP, perl, SQL)

- Knowledge of Web Services

- Knowledge of a mixed range of platforms (UNIX, AS400, RAC/F, Linux, etc)
