Overview

Quest Software is currently looking for a Global HRBP Director. The person holding this key position will manage the global HR business partners team who serve as trusted advisor's to our business leaders throughout the company.  The successful candidate must be an effective business partner with strong collaboration, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills who has demonstrated the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. The desired candidate will have a successful track record as an HR Director, including strengths in compensation, recruiting, training, policies, compliance, employee relations, as well as international human resources related projects.

 

The HR Director is responsible for developing and ensuring effective implementation of plans, systems, policies, and processes for workforce planning, talent management and development, employee engagement, legal compliance and record-keeping, and employee relations. This position requires a true strategic business partner who is collaborative and capable of building consensus and commitment toward shared outcomes.

 

The HR Director will be a trusted advisor, functioning as an expert on people and organizational issues to senior executives while leading a talented and dedicated team of HRBP professionals. In this role, you will function as a strategic business partner to our business unit leadership teams regarding key organizational and management issues. This role reports to the company's Chief People Officer.  Our preferred location is Austin, Texas and will require a combination of in-house, remote and travel based on the needs of the business.  

Responsibilities

-Leads a team of Global HR Business Partners, with additional focus managing Americas Regional HR

-Build professional relationships with business leaders, provide expertise in areas on workforce planning and retention to drive business success

-Identifies opportunities to improve company culture via employee engagement and provides doable yet high impact action items to cultivate a strong, vibrant employee climate suitable to encourage and reflect the company’s core values

-Drive decisions and lead execution related to hiring, retention, engagement, org design, and critical Employee Relations matters

-Assist the management team of each client group in evaluating performance of individual team members and providing guidance on development in line with Quest’s approach to talent management

-Serve as a day-to-day advisor and coach to managers and employees in all human resource areas, effectively balance the business interests of the client group and the company

-Build and strengthen ongoing cross-functional (and global) partnerships to ensure company programs and projects execute on time and in an aligned manner

-Facilitate the consistent application and improvement of HR policies, processes, and programs

Qualifications

-Preferred educational requirements: Undergraduate degree and 7+ years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 5+ years relevant experience

-Experience leading and managing high performing HR teams, preferably in a trusted advisor setting

-Knowledge of software and/or technology a plus

-Broad HR knowledge in key areas such as talent acquisition, talent development, employee relations, compensation, HR policies and best practices, learning and development, etc.

-Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements, policies, practices, and compliance

-Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to handle and resolve complex issues with high-level of ambiguity

-Ability to provide thoughtful, progressive and strategic guidance

-Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems

-Ability to identify, influence, and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve desired organizational outcomes
