As a Software Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of cutting-edge software products. You will act as the bridge between our stakeholders, development teams, and end-users, ensuring that our software meets their needs and exceeds expectations.

 

100% Remote - Candidate must live in Panama.

Responsibilities

-Product Vision: Develop and articulate a clear and compelling vision for the KACE product portfolio in alignment with the overall company strategy.
-Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
-Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-groomed, accurately reflects the product vision, and is ready for development.
-Feature Definition: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, providing clear guidance on what needs to be built.
-Release Planning: Lead release planning activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews, ensuring that releases are delivered on time and within scope.
-Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on the status of the product, gathering feedback, and managing expectations.
-Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define test cases and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and usability.
-Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development, proactively addressing issues that may impact the successful delivery of the product.
-Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging feedback from stakeholders and metrics to optimize the product development process.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
-Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
-Strong understanding of agile methodologies, with experience working in an agile environment.
-Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
-Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Aha.
-Knowledge of software development processes and best practices.

 

Preferences
-Certification in Product Ownership (e.g., CSPO)
