This Software Channel Account Manager is an individual contributor responsible for selling company software products and services in assigned territory through indirect sales channels such as National Service Providers, Value Added Resellers and Consultants.
About This Role:
We are looking for a Software Channel Account Manager with a demonstrable record of software sales success to focus on key relationships that scale Channel Sourced Revenue in targeted marketplaces and verticals. The Channel Account Manager is a highly creative and strategic outside role, responsible for creating, activating, and managing relationships with current and new partners to drive meaningful revenue. This role will work closely enabling our growing network of strategic partners in seeking both new and managing direct sourced opportunities that customers prefer to purchase through the channel.
The Channel Account Manager's role will focus on the National Resellers and High-Value relationships. Additional responsibilities include consulting opportunities, unique partnerships, and more. A successful candidate will be a strategic leader capable of building and executing a plan. This role will have an aggressive but attainable growth target and will report directly to the SW Channel Sales Manager.
-Manages existing channel partners and recruits net new target partners
-Develops, motivates and coordinates Quest sales teams and Channel sales teams to optimize sales execution
-Works with channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities
-Provides channel partner feedback to the company to match market needs with company software products and services
-Strong pipeline tracking and management abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
-Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive relationships
-5+ years sales experience
-IT Industry sales experience a must
-Background involving solution selling and successful negotiations
-2+ years of channel selling experience preferred
-Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
-Travel up to 50% may be required
