Overview

As the Vice President of  Quest's Professional Services Organization, you will be collaborating with senior product and sales leaders globally across business units to help customers achieve their business goals. Your primary focus will be on developing team capabilities, achieving financial and operational objectives, and ensuring successful delivery of customer commitments. You will oversee Quest Software's global professional services delivery and operations organizations, including managed services, field services, PMO, and services operations groups. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a global consulting team within a software organization, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and fostering strong leaders within a culture of excellence, creativity, and ownership. Your key objectives will be to support strategic customers, streamline operations, and achieve financial targets, thereby strengthening Quest Software's position as a market leader. This is a US based position reporting to the President and GM.

Responsibilities

-Manage global delivery for Quest Professional Services organization of nearly 750 consultants (both FTEs and contractors).

- Meet financial plan and metric targets including both traditional services metrics such as utilization, revenue, and margin, as well as customer success metrics.

- Partner with sales leadership on account and deal strategies.

-Collaborate with leaders across BU’s to determine go-to-market strategies and offerings.

-Manage partner and sub-contracts relationships to support elasticity in bandwidth and skills for our consulting organization.

-Partner with senior sales leaders to create a common PSO forecast and remove any barriers or friction that could jeopardize a deal.

-Successfully resolve customer issues and escalations in a mutually beneficial manner.

-Mentor your global leadership team and provide opportunities for career development and advancement on behalf of your staff.

-Foster an environment of excellence, creativity, and ownership throughout your organization.

Qualifications

-10+ years of relevant experience in a professional services organization or equivalent combination of education and work experience

-8+ years managerial/leadership experience in a software services environment

-5+ years senior leadership experience

-Previous experience managing a large scale team globally

-Demonstrated success in managing both software services sales, delivery, and operations teams 

-Successful history of influencing global sales teams to identify and develop new PSO business opportunities 

-Strong leadership experience in developing team members and subordinate leaders to support their career goals as well as align with the goals of the overall PSO business

-Proven track record of leading through influence and collaborating across multi-functional teams

-Experience with software security solutions a plus

-Global travel expectations up to 40%.
