We are currently looking for an Inside Channel Account Manager (ICAM), to join our UKI team and further grow our successful business within the Public Sector for the Platform Management team. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity that offers career and personal growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join like-minded people in driving Microsoft Platform Management’s Channel strategy in this high-growth industry. Your focus will be to build relationships, create and execute campaigns, drive growth and over-achieve on revenue targets.
- Generate Direct business through proactive outreach to new customers via cold calling and strategic email campaigning.
- Works with direct customer and channel partners to identify and qualify sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities to generate pipeline.
- Owns and manage the sales cycle for assigned accounts, leveraging a value-based selling approach for opportunities sub 10K in Public Sector.
- Execute on Tactical Sales and Marketing strategies directed by the Public Sector Team
- Work with Public sector Reps to complete Health Checks, Quarterly Business Reviews and increase customer engagement with our Strategic Customers.
- Maintain accurate and complete account data in Salesforce and articulate accurate weekly forecasting to Public Sector Team.
- Coordinates with the Sales team and Channel Managers to optimize sales execution.
- Maintain awareness of Public sector market conditions and competitors' products and pricing and keep up to date on knowledge of the company.
- Co-own sales achievement goals against territory and team quota in the public sector team.
- Quickly develop value-based business relationships with B2B customers.
- Develop internal sales relationships with Public sector account managers to develop knowledge in Public sector marketplace.
- Support account managers in the region to manage and close opportunities.
- Post-Sales Support and managing escalations with Service and project management during Customer Delivery
- 3+ years’ experience within a channel/inside sales role (technology, software, B2B, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Technology.
- Interest in how UK&I Government and Public sector operates.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player supporting Public Sector team.
- Create and nurture strong collaborative relationships with customers, partners, and sales team members.
- Capability to manage multiple activities & projects, delivering to expectation with a sense of urgency.
- Polished professionalism with above average organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent third level qualification.
- Strong presentation and critical thinking skills.
- Fluent in English.
