The Vice President of Engineering is a highly visible executive leadership role responsible for leading Quest's Information & Systems Management (ISM) engineering team, reporting directly to the President and GM of Quest Software’s ISM business unit. This leader will have responsibility for leading a team of over 500 globally through 10 or more direct management reports.

The position is based remotely in the United States with team members in the US, India, Serbia, Tel Aviv, and Cork. Travel as required. 

In this role you will:

• Work closely with the senior executive team to define and execute on the company's technology roadmap with an emphasis on efficiencies to become even more competitive.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in our engineering processes.
• Develop, implement, and communicate engineering plans and status throughout all levels of the company, including financial and resource budget planning and management.

You must:

• Have demonstrated success leading large, globally distributed teams of engineers and developers to define and deliver enterprise software products to a diverse client base across multiple disciplines.
• Understand, preferably experience, working in a private equity owned company.
• Be able to drive performance in a complex portfolio.
