The team develops the syslog-ng and the syslog-ng Store Box products.

Syslog-ng is a well-known, enterprise grade central log management software to collect and process hundreds of thousands incoming log messages within a second. It is heavily used by the major fortune top 500 companies worldwide. The syslog-ng Store Box™ (SSB) is a high-performance, high-reliability log management appliance that builds on the strengths of syslog-ng Premium Edition. With SSB, you can search logs, secure sensitive information with granular access policies, generate reports to demonstrate compliance and forward log data to third-party analysis tools.  

• You will be empowered for driving automation testing efforts including creating and executing test plans, test case development, and test status 
• You will cooperate with the local DevOps team in developing and maintaining the build and test system 
• You will have the freedom to design, build and maintain testing tools and scripts in a complex test environment 
• You will involve in understanding the product to help the Product Owner and Developers in the design and product issues 

• You will collaborates with the syslog-ng Open-Source Community

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 
• 2 years hands-on experience in Quality Engineering and/or DevOps  

• Solid programming knowledge in Python is a must 
• Strong Linux knowledge is heavily required 
• Experience with different test methods and approaches 
• Experience with CI/CD system (Azure, Jenkins)  
• Familiarity with distributed version control systems such as Git  

Nice-to-have 

• Open-Source fan  
• Experience in log management technologies or products 
• Kubernetes and Docker knowledge  

• Azure DevOps experience  
• Experience in C or C++ or web technologies  
• Transparent and friendly personality
