We are looking for a Software Developer Principal Engineer to build with us the next generation of cloud-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions that connect people with technology through a simple and secure login. -Working on intellectually satisfying problems for a sophisticated product solving real problems for our customers

-Working with highly-skilled engineers from around the world
-Building and designing secure, scalable, and reliable microservices in cloud SaaS environment (We use AWS)
-Redesigning or splitting the legacy monolith into more maintainable services
-Thinking out-of-the-box to come up with a solution to problems that do not seem to have one
-Continuously trying new technologies and applying them if they make sense and solve customer problems
-Owning technical design for projects of moderate complexity, and understands the tradeoffs in creating good software in their area
-Designing technical documentation
-Mentoring and supporting people within the team/organization
-Completion of a computer science master's degree or equivalent
-5+ years of working experience in software development
-Experience in full stack development – Preferably in Ruby on Rails, Nodejs and React
-Experience building applications using microservice architecture
-Knowledge of coding best practices and ability to create clean, well structured, and testable code
-Understanding of containerization and orchestration framework like Docker and Kubernetes
-Ability to design application architecture to incorporate new features
-Good understanding of modern software practices including design patterns, SOLID principles, coding standards, and agile software development practices
-Solid understanding of building scalable web applications using and RESTful API design
-Working knowledge of source control and automated build systems, especially Actions
-Working knowledge with SQL and NoSQL databases
-Mentoring and supporting people within the team/organization
