Quest Software is seeking a presales engineer for our Microsoft Platform Management solution set, you will be working with our sales teams to support our direct and indirect sales efforts in Australia and New Zealand.
The Microsoft Platform solution portfolio spans the migration and management of AD, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive both on premise and Cloud. This solution portfolio is further differentiated from our competitors by the broader Quest solution portfolio. Most customers in Australia and New Zealand use our solutions today, it’s just a question of how many.
Your thorough understanding of the broader Microsoft eco system with specific knowledge of AD, Office 365, Teams and SharePoint coupled with your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively articulate the value of Quest solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will also have the opportunity to gain experience with Quest’s other industry-leading solutions in the Identity Management, Cyber Security and Data Operations portfolios.
As an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer, you bring to the role extensive experience in performing Office 365 migrations along with Windows Server administration including Active Directory. You will also have experience in Windows server app (SQL, Exchange), Office 365/ Azure and Sharepoint. You have a background in Consulting (preferably from a Big 4) and have worked across various industries such as FSI, insurance, healthcare and utilities, with a thorough understanding of related business processes and common Microsoft platform challenges in these industry verticals.
Your professional experience as a Pre-Sales technical resource also brings a working knowledge of technical infrastructure including application servers, databases, virtualisation and directions. It is desirable to have an understanding of Quest solutions (MS centric) with familiarity in .Net, VB, LDAP and SQL.
