Director of Demand Generation & Field Marketing, EMEA

The Role

As the Director of Demand Generation EMEA you will lead a team of campaign, field marketing and events professionals that creates awareness and generates new license growth from new and existing customers. You will align with direct and channel Sales leaders to design and execute the optimal campaigns and field activity strategy that will drive marketing contribution to pipeline. As the leader of integrated demand generation activity in EMEA, you will oversee the planning, budgeting, execution and reporting of pipeline creation through digital, ABM and field marketing strategies.


Your team will report into the global Vice President of Demand Generation and will partner with our EMEA sales development team where marketing qualified accounts and prospects will convert into sales opportunities. The global Marketing team is also a key partner to help you with campaign frameworks and offer content; product positioning and brand; digital marketing support such as paid search, SEO and digital advertising; and finally, marketing operations services for target account data, automation tools, and on-demand reporting and analytics.


As the demand gen leader for EMEA, you will be accountable for team management and growth as well as for the marketing contribution targets. Your direct reports will include a team of demand gen campaign, events, and field marketing professionals. You will also have oversight into the budgets provided for campaigns, events, digital marketing, and field marketing activity. And as the owner of the demand gen strategy for EMEA, you will be responsible for analyzing all activity to ensure necessary course corrections takes place to ensure consistent performance and positive ROI is achieved.




-Manage a team of campaign, efvent, and field marketers

-Align with direct and channel Sales leaders to design marketing contribution to pipeline

-Partner with digital marketing, product marketing, and marketing operations to run EMEA demand gen activities

-Collaborate daily with the EMEA SDR team to ensure quality and velocity of marketing leads

-Leverage global campaign frameworks – including customization for EMEA as needed – to drive demand

-Understand the One Identity and OneLogin go-to-market strategy including the ideal customer profile, personas, and buyers’ journey for each solution

-Forecast demand gen activity and analyze results on a consistent basis to ensure pipeline objectives are being met

-Iterate on marketing plans based on performance analytics and market conditions to improve efficiency and maintain healthy ROI

-Using acquisition best practices and working with Product Marketing, create and maximize content offers to support campaigns and digital marketing

-Working with Marketing Operations, ensure a comprehensive and healthy named account database is maintained and used for demand gen activity

-Partnering with global campaign and content marketing teams to identify, build, or refine the right content for awareness and demand gen programs; including alignment to the buyer’s journey content strategy

-Report and present activity, outputs and pipeline impact on a regular basis to marketing and sales leadership; including recommendations for course correction as needed

-Ability to travel throughout EMEA and to the US as needed for leadership or team meetings


-10+ years of demand gen experience at B2B software or technology companies; including collaboration with Sales to achieve pipeline goals

-5+ years of team management experience; including track record of hiring

-Experience in designing and building integrated, results-driven campaigns that drive awareness and generate qualified leads and accounts

-Experience in EMEA for paid and non-paid digital tactics, email marketing, ABM and field activities

-Understanding EMEA data guidelines and requirements for building and using people and account databases

-Experience with leveraging social media and PR to enhance demand gen

-Experience in translating Sales objectives into demand generation strategy, including investment mix

-Experience in sales tech, martech, and business analytics tools that drives productivity and actionable analysis

-Experience with content marketing strategy and aligning the right content to the right persona in the right place at the right time

-Demonstrated understanding of marketing strategy including target accounts, buying process, buyer personas, EMEA tactical trends, and optimizing the marketing mix to maximize conversion and velocity of pipeline creation

-Demonstrated ability to lead teams, think strategically and critically, and solves problems with quality and speed
